Eric- I saw your radios in the paper the other day and if they were the same model they said their range was up to 5 miles...
I assume terrain plays a big role though.

Yeah, terrain and obstacles. I can get a weak signal standing in my work parking lot with the other unit inside our house (1 mile +-), and the land rolls a decent amount with a bunch of trees between the two. Both radios being outside would make a difference also, I guess.

I'm just posting so next time you meet, I can come and drool. There isn't an S2000 at any Indy dealerships right now. I'm probably going to hold off until the Fall and maybe get a better deal or a '03.

My local lot in South Bend, which is Basney Honda, has a New Grand Prix White '01, a New Suzuka Blue '02, and 2 used ones. I think the used ones are Black and Silverstone. If anybody is interested give Rick Borkowski a call there at 574-256-5550. I bought my '01 Spa Yellow from him and I would say it was the easiest sales experience ever.

I have a GMAC lease right now, can you do anything special to get me out of it?

Don't know about that lease, I bought my S2000 at Tom Wood at Anderson for MSRP, I called Bill Richardson (Salesman) today and he says they have a red & black one with alarm and spoiler (deck spoiler I think) at the floor and one more on the way for this year, a silver with red in a couple of months.
If you like to drool more come to the Solo II event April 6 at the Bush Stadium parking at 16th St at Indy.

Good luck

Gus

I believe with the lease I'll have to stick it out for a few more months, or possibly trade it online. I think my best bet is to just hold out until this fall anyway, order a new one and have it by spring. I know with GMAC the dealers can get you out if you lease another one, didn't know if Honda dealers and GM's might have some relationship on a dealer to dealer basis to get me crusin around in this nice weather faster.

I was watching TV today and saw a yellow one on TV in front of Conseco.

I got out of my GMAC lease 5 months early when I got my S2000. Call them and ask for the buy out amount. I saved about $500 by paying it off early. It's worth a call.

Penske Honda has a blue one on the showroom floor right now. I went and checked it out tonight. It looks really nice.
