Met up with the IL crew leaving from Algonquin. They are on their way!
BTW, rain makes for some tail happy driving...son had a blast fish-tailing out of the Dominick's parking lot.

Was on my way for the 10:00 meet at 64 (North ave) & 59 (on 355 before Army Trail Rd) when it was raining cats & dogs... so I decided to turn around and head home but now it seems alright....
Oh well, would have to take off early for another party anyway.... you guys have fun and I join up next time.

^^^^ yeah, after that downpour it cleared up till we were finish eating at popeys.
i ended up getting lost for 3 hours on the way home. somehow managed to circle the chain-0-lakes probably 3 times. finally found rt59 and took that south untill i came across i-90.
glad sonia slept through it all. else she would have yelled at me for not pulling over and asking directions. pffft. whatever. all i had to do was pick a road and head south or west. i was bound to hit an interstate sooner or later.

That is almost certaintly the WORST weather we have ever experienced at a meet in my whole time on S2ki. But the turn out was great, the drive was fun and lunch was a blast!
Thanks to Keith, Garrison and Pat for cordinating/prerunning/planning this meet.
Congrats on the new ride, Garrison!
