I need a moonlighting insurance estimator who knows the S2000 to look at my crashed car. I'd pay a fee plus car travel expenses after talking to them. For it to be practical I think they'd need to be in the area bounded by St. Louis, Terre Haute, Chicago and Indianapolis. The car is near Decatur. IL.

I've learned from an appraiser who owns an S2000 that S2000-specific knowledge isn't required. I'll be getting a light front end teardown and appraisal locally. If that turns out right the question will become one of choosing the right shop to do the repair.

Does anyone have a shop recommendation for around Decatur, Springfield, Champaign, Peoria, Vandallia or Bloomington/Normal?
