I am staying at an condo owned by the company I work for. It's on the SE corner of Federal Highway and Camino Real, very blingity bling neighborhood. Dunno if I can take 8 more days here. I mean I personally dont feel comfortable at all. Locals here seem kinda stuffy. And I have have never seen so many people honking their horns at other drivers. If you dont nail it when that light turns green you get honked at.

I went to the apt. today for lunch and I counted 4 S2000's in the parking garage in addition to all the other Beemers, Mercedes, Hummers, yada yada yada.

I dont remeber what size the wheels were on the Elise but they were not stock, they had some kind of label on them that I couldnt read. I now know why that car weighs so little, its tiny. Smaller than an S2000.
The elise will be my next car, there is no other like it in terms of performance.
At 1900lbs, they designed it to be fast, and handle. Total drivers car.

With that said the car is completely designed around track use. I have met 3 owners who have taken it and put 30lbs rims on added a system, and a bunch of other crap, and just shrug at them.

One of those people were in South Florida.

Yeah I don't know if I could take that either. You do have a large amount of exotic rental places down there. If you can afford it you could rent a slew of pimp cars for 300-1000+ a day if you wanted to fit in

Just look at it this way, its fuc*ing cold here everything is covered in snow and shit.
Enjoy it for now.

I know you are married but what is the female situation?

Wife/family are stuck at home, I wanted them to come but we have no one to watch our dog. The dog is also past sue on shots so a kennel is not an option.

Guess I could tie the dog up outside lol j/k.

Do you guys notice this that all the H2s always seem to be yellow with that same middle age white guy driving it?

Yeaah!! theres a ton of Hummers, more than in Ca. But none of the truck version. I am starting to think I am the only guy that likes the truck version.

I'm not fond of the regular H2. And yes Dezoris, they are mostly yellow around here. Cant tell about the driver though everyone has tinted windows around here.

I've seen a lot of beautiful women here (some of them are overtanned) but they are all young, I mean like early 20's. The chicks my age are starting to show age. And I dont even want to mention the 3rd segment. Lets just say they got way too much sun in their lifetime

Drove down to the beaches in Ft. Lauderdale last night. I like it much more than Boca.

Sundays Update

5 1/2 days to go!!! I am really homesick now. I cant wait to go home

The evening news just made me realize how wimpy some people are. The news caster was telling residents they will need to use the heaters tonight, its supposed to be in the 50's

I am now convinced the UMW has made me a tough guy Its just plain sad to see the Floridians complain about temps below 65.

Lot of convertibles out today but the tops were up
