Default Hiring an assistant

Just wanted to throw this out there:

I am hiring an office assistant in the Pewaukee/Waukesha, WI area. I am the Underwriting Manager for Universal Underwriters, the nations largest and oldest auto dealer insurance company. We also insure motorcycle, truck, industrial/agricultural equipment dealers. The job would be administrative primarily. I am looking for someone somewhat long term because their is quite a bit of training involved. Insurance knowledge is not necessary but definitely a plus. Pays between $22k and $32k and the hours are 7.5 hours each day not including a clocked out lunch; so the total day is 8 hours. Occasional overtime might be involved (rarely) and the hours are extremely flexible. When I used to be hourly at this company I used to work 7:30am to 3:30pm, it was awesome!! Please email any interest to:

ryan*ellis at uug.com

(Replace the * with a . and the word "at" with an @)

my friend's company is hiring as well:
similar pay (on the higher end of that). working for an international shipping company doing freight forwarding, domestic trucking, railroad movies, etc. you need to be really detail oriented, and have a pleasant phone personality w/ decent data entry speed. the position is located in lombard and you can email her your resume at:

Again, I am not trying to be a tool, but shouldn't this thread be in Windy City?

I thought the UMW forum was specifically reserved for things directly related to the car.

Wouldn't that defeat the purpose?

I did not get the memo, I think the moderators can handle this.

It was actually posted by WestSideBilly that the UMW is a community forum. This post is intended for the community because it is a job offer for someone in the area. So lets stop with the junior moderator stuff.
