"Help Urmil and Ronica paint their house and then eat some BBQ" meet!
Anyone interested in a meet with painting as a group activity?
I'm thinking that if we get enough helpers, we can knock out the majority of painting within a couple of hours.
We'll have bought all the needed paint, we'll have as many brushes, rollers, and tarps that we can afford.....and we'll supply the food and beer.
We've got the family room, two bedrooms (possibly three), parts of the living/dining room, two hallways, parts of the kitchen area, and one entrance area.
The possible plan is that Ronica and I can have everything masked off and tarped as needed. As people show up, we can get four to five people painting one room. If this works out and we can get enough help, I don't think that we'd take a whole day to finish (I fore-see using you guys for about 4-6 hours...if you all bring significant others, the women-folk can meet each other and knock off another 2 hours off of finishing.
We can then BBQ, or go out to a restaurant (at my expense....maybe at Buffalo Wild Wings)...and then go for a drive...maybe out to Snake Road.
I will be asking some of my non-S2K friends as well. Like I said, the larger the group, the less the work, the more the fun, and the larger the 'circle of friends'.

Possible dates are 6/19, 6/20, 6/26, 6/27...or maybe even July 4th weekend. I promise to return the favors to those that helped by doing detail work on your cars, doing maintenance work, bolting on mods, etc.
