The clutch feel is easy to fix too with an older-style delay valve. If I am not mistaken it's about $30 for the part. $1.98 for some brake fluid and could be done by just about anyone in less than 1hr.

Getting the taller redline, that would be tough. You could get one of the ECUs that hecash is selling and spin the F22C to 9k. It's been done before. This one is the most extreme of the three suggestions I have made. (Interior swap, CDV replacment, and ECU "down-grade")

I know its nice to get what you really want, but financially it makes more sense to buy daves car - its an 04 - the resale is going to be much higher in the long run when/if you come to sell.

but its your car and your money - good luck in your search!

Take a look at Donnie B's post. He's now selling his GPW with a Mugen hardtop. Can't beat that, even though you may not like the plastic window.

i want the red interior. i wonder how many gpw's honda imported in 02? they're seriously impossible to find.
I've got an 03 with all red interior, but it's silverstone not white. I'd really like to see some production numbers, because I've seen several 02 white/red in person but have never seen another 03 silverstone/all red. Anecdotal evidence for sure, but there are only 2 other 03 silverstone/all red that I've ever seen on this board too. Beautiful combination, pictures don't do it justice, 1 year only color combo. White/red is too, great combo, and very hard to find.

03 Silverstone/all red interior, bone stock, mint condition, 14k miles, meticulous maintenance (LE twice, Syn oil at 10k, 4 dino changes prior, 303 on the top), always garaged, never in snow, rarely in rain, original down to the washer fluid and wiper blades, etc, etc. Asking $23k

why don't you go into a dealer that has one listed for around 23K and work with him. I'm sure you can bring it down to 20K
They have a lot of room to play. These cars are much cheaper wholesale and I bet you trade in vs markup is very high at a dealership on the S2K.

Just another suggestion to go private party if you can. I just bought a 99 GS300 as my daily driver from a private party. You will also benefit a bit on taxes at the DMV by going private party.

Was Dave's car in an accident? He has it listed for 22,500 OBO. Come to think of it, there has to be something wrong at such low ball price, and having been listed for over a month. Wheres the VIN?
