Default Grissom Auto-x

How many people are planning on running at Grissom Sunday? I've heard it's a pretty nice place to race so I'm looking forward to it. It's also the first event I'll be running on my new (well they're used, but they're new to me) Hoosier A3S03's. However, if I don't do well I won't be able to blame my shitty tires anymore...so I guess that could be good or bad.

If you have never autox'd on race rubber you will completely ruin your tires there.
I have done several test and tunes at Grissom, and completely chunked S03s and F1GSD3s. They were as good as garbage when I was done, killed an injector there.

I would say the concrete there is one of the stickest surfaces I ever autox'd on.

With the heat you will be liquifying that rubber quick.
You will enjoy it, don't pull into the state prison entrance on accident

I know that G.Chambers, Gus ( Overstreer), and Catherin (Bobcat) are all going to be there.

We really struggled to keep heat in the tires today.

I don't think I am going to recover for a few days. It was pretty darn hot out there. Temps were in the 90's all day. We ran well, though. Good practice for the big event next weekend.

Yeah, it was a scorcher today. I only saw Gus there today with his S2000, what did you run Bobcat?

Also I don't think I did any serious damage to the tires. I think they held up pretty good and they certainly made me a heck of a lot faster.
