If you're willing to come in to the city, I have had PHENOMENAL experiences with Guy & Sons body shop on Van Buren, between Racine and Morgan.

High deductible, or lack of full coverage?

Will my insurance go up even though its not my fault? The reason I wanted it not cost a lot is because the damage diden't look expensive and he would just give me the money for repairs out of pocket. But I got a rought qoute and its probably going to be about 700$.

Might check them out. Do you know if they replace the parts with original parts? I don't really want aftermarket.

I know they used quality stuff when I took my MINI there. They held it an extra day because the paint "wasn't shiny enough."

Try Autowerks up in Northbrook. I've used them before and they are good.

Boyce Body Werks in Naperville or Batavia. Ken or Marcia is who you would contact (Owners)

How bad is the bumper? Another option is to go to your local dealer and many have an onsite painter called Carnica that can repair and fix something like that for 100 ~ 250 depending on any punctures or damage. It will look the same as your 700 body shop work.
