I've never been on one of these tours, but has there been any issues on past runs where the locals get pissed with 50+ cars in a row etc.
Not being able to pass yada yada yada.

50+ S2000s is gonna be a pretty outstanding sight on the roads and will draw a lot of attention (both good and bad). This is another reason why the routes will not be made public - why give people advance notice? (and I dont mean S2000s owners )
Anyway, typically, only a fool tries to overtake 50+ cars! Generally, people pull over and let you go by. We have had other road users forego their turn at lights or stop signs just so convoys can stay together. (not too sure whether it is through courtesy or disbelief!)
Even at the spring opener for Ubab last year, we had an impromptu police escort through an intersection for our group.
The cars are normally very well received - but you have to earn that kind of respect. Obviously, burnouts, squealing tires and doing crazy speeds through built up areas is something that will gain entirely the wrong type of attention and something that we are not advocating.
We are asking people to use their common sense and everything will be alright.
