FVSCC Lapping Day April 5th
Hey guys, Fox Valley Sports Car club is holding a lapping day up in Shawano WI and YOU should come and join us.
The day is broken up into 2 sessions, the morning session and the afternoon session. You can register for either or both sessions. In each session you will be on track for 15 minutes every hour for 4 hours. So a total of 1hr on track. The cost is $70 per session.
The track isn't isn't your typical 'big track' like gingerman or blackhawk etc. It's actually a big go cart track, only a mile long and 17 turns or so.
Information is here:

Now THIS is my kind of price for a "track" day. Pat: If you are planning on going I would definitely drop the dough for it. It is going to be after a week of 3 exams, so timing works well for me.

halfway between auto-x and track day is a good way of describing it.
If you've been to one before we have probably met. I either had a black or yellow evo on r-compounds and run start every other hour.

It was a couple of years ago that I went. I remember there was an evo only session.
I'll have to check my calendar for this. It is a bit of a hike, but maybe if there is something in that general area to entertain me, I can make a weekend out of it.

This place is a lot of fun!! It happened to be the first place I put my S on a track. You will not find yourself in 3rd gear for two long at this place. My top speed was just shy of 70mph.
