In fact, I met an owner at last night's meet that paid $500 for his 30k miles service. If he had gotten it done at my house, it'd cost him no more than $100 (not that I would take payment...but the cost of supplies he would have to bring...ie. oil, beer, spark plugs, etc.).

Ok, off topic here, what goes in to the 15,000 mile service?

I'm a bit past that but should do it before I drive out there.

I know I can find it in the manual but its at home. So I'll be lazy again and ask here

BTW, is leather furniture impractical because of the winter?

You'll be fine going slightly over the 15k mile service...as long as you don't have any large shavings in the diff fluid, or if your motor oil and tranny fluid are sludge.

If it can wait, we can take care of it for you once you get here.

Take a look at xviper's post in the under the hood area, he's got a detailed list of what goes into 15k and 30k services.

Yes, its me..... unfortunatly. Me as a salesmen is a love/hate relationship. I work at the Arlington Hts location, which is located right at the corner of Arlington Hts rd x Rand rd. I work Mondays 6-9 Wednesdays 5-9 and open to close on the weekends.

The website is www.harlemfurniture.com

Although i agree that, that website is an insult to a company worth 200mil a year.

Sean you'll find that the prices at "the roomplace," are very very reasonable. If there is anything i can do to save you and or anyone else more money i will!!! They offer entire room groups for one price. Sofa, Loveseat, 3 tables and 2 lamps. Is the most popular package, but i can always try to work out a better deal if you decide to add any other piece of funiture.

As far as your leather question, is it impractical?? NO!!

This is a common misconception. Leather is a natural material. Its skin. It always goes with the room temprature, and or your body temprature once you sit on it. It doesnt get hot or cold like vynil. If the room temprature is 72..... the furniture will be 72 when you intially sit on it. Not to mention the fact thats its the most durable material out there, and very comfortable. At the risk of making this into a furniture sales meeting... i'll stop. If you have anymore questions let em rip.

Bout the booze..... I have my connections.
