I still have the toshiba tecra laptop for sale. This is a used Toshiba Tecra 8200 Laptop in very good condition. Has a few nicks/marks from normal use, but nothing bad. It is a 750Mhz Pentium III processor with speedstep technology to save power. I upgraded it to 256MB of SDRAM, 20 Gigabyte Hard Drive, 16MB video, built in modem, built in NIC 10/100 ethernet, USB ports, matching USB Toshiba Floppy drive, CD-ROM drive, TWO batteries (one for each bay), AC Power Adapter, and upgradeable to Wi-Fi. It also has your standard parallel and serial ports. Also has built in sound. I am installing a fresh copy of windows xp professional and I will include a copy of an xp pro cd.

There is a document holder on the top/cover but it can be peeled off if you don't want it on there.

Need to sell these ASAP! I was going to keep these two for personal use after i'd finished selling the other couple laptops I had, but decided I'd rather mod the S2k!

You don't happen to have any extra laptop hardrives, do you?

BTW, I may be interested in one laptop. I wouldn't mind having one in the garage that stores all the tuned maps I have (will have) for the Integra ECU and all the ones I should have for the S2000....but then again buying one of these will put off buying the EMS a bit further.

 

BTW, just as a funny....I see stains on the Toshiba cover....was this a dedicated "media" laptop.

Does the Dell support an internal CD drive? Or just an external unit?

 

haha, good call on the stains. no it wasn't a dedicated media unit. rofl. i actualy think they are under the document cover, so you'd be able to remove them. or add to them, depending on what you're doing with the laptop.

the dell has a bay for an internal cd rom drive. the cd rom drives i linked to on ebay in my post are internal, and simply use the hot swappable drive bay.
