FreshWater... you decide!

Yay!...If I want to see a stock car, I can take a look at the hundered or so I see in the street a week, or I can open a sales brochure, get on the web, or any other avenue.
Using a modified car as a graphic only promotes the manufacturer if the name of the manufacturer is present. Otherwise it promotes the car.
When you all watch car commercials on tv, do you think that base models are shown? Next time you watch a commercial, look at the fine print near the bottom of the tv. Sure the accessories on the car come as dealership options, but those options, for the most part are just third party vendor products.
Someone commented on portraying the car in it's purest form. I'm assuming then you are advocating the use of a MY2000 car and not a 2001, 2002, 2003, or heaven forbid a 2004. The car was in its purest form in only the MY2000. Plastic window, no clock, no defroster wiring, no wire harnesses for rear speakers, stiffer suspension, etc.
In anycase, if you look at it from a marketing angle, a modded S2000 catches more eyes than an OEM one. If the goal is to draw attention to the shirt, then go with a modded one. Portraying an action shot on a shirt is going to be difficult; showing a stock S2000 on a (I'm assuming) white t-shirt is going to be very mundane.
There's a reason why S2KCA shirts, Honda licensed shirts, and other event shirts don't use cars as a graphic, only a logo.

If you choose to show one with a hardtop, aren't we getting away from what the basis of this car is...a ragtop roadster.
The more I think about this, I'd vote to keep the car off the shirt and just make more room for a clean, professional looking logo.

This is just the tip of the iceberg for your decision to throw show a modded S2000 or an un-modded one.
Wait until you have to decide on what color. What about having to decide on what "OEM" accessories should be present? What about deciding on what angle to show the car from?
My personal choice would be to have a plain front with a little "Polo" style mini-logo on the left chest and then some graphic logo on the back side with sponsor listings.
For the first annual S2KDays and the following "Wake the Dragon", and the "Enter the Dragon" events, they even "borrowed" the dragon logo from the unofficial dragon brand....no car needed.

Are you the only one working on the tshirt ideas
Presidente?
I think we want a tshirt, where the logo or image is does not matter. Why don't you just start throwing up some designs, maybe some of us attending will also give you some ideas along the way.
Narrow it down and have a vote.
A logo it probably better as Luder put it, with an ambigous, S2000 in the background minus color and detail.
If you are going to do a modded one make sure it has tezzas and quad exhaust.
