fender bender need paint
FOR A 2007 civic coupe
I got an estimate from honda how much it is to repair, and they wanted about $500 to fix the fender and paint the fender. and blending into the paint.
A brand new fender from honda is only $101 plus tax.
i was thinking of buying a new fender and getting it painted.
the problem is will it match? should i just get the work done from honda? where should i go?

For a 2007 I'd say if you had it painted after you bought a new fender it would match if you did the same colour. do you have any pics of the fender on how bad it actually is? just a small scratch? or a crack?

What color is the Si? Depending on the color, the paint may be easy to match, or you may end up needing to get blending done on the hood, front bumper cover, door, and a-pillar.
Black is easy to do. Yellows and reds are more difficult.

If the paint is in tact and all the damage is the "bending" of metal, you may want to let a dent guy take a look at the panel first.
If you decide to go that route, the guy I recommend is Erich Pawlelo (sp?). He comes to quite a few UMW S2000 events and offers VERY discounted rates. He does GREAT work!
Last year, he straightened out a member's CRV front fender. The member's wife nose dived the CRV into the side of the garage. After Erich was done, you couldn't tell where the damage was.
