Feb 27 Michigan Meet
Winter Rendezvous for Michigan S2000 Owners & S2kCA’s Great Lakes Chapter members
Ypsilanti, MI, Saturday, 1:30 PM, February 27th
Meet Directions
From I-94, exit 183, go north on Huron Street to Cross Street. Turn right and you're in Ypsilanti’s historic Depot Town. Both the restaurant and museum are at the east end of Depot Town at the corner of Cross and River Streets.
Sidetrack Bar & Grill
The meet starts with lunch at the Sidetrack Bar & Grill at 1:30 PM. There is numerous parking lots in the area and behind the museum. We're looking forward to meeting new friends, seeing familiar faces, and swap S2000 stories and kick around ideas for future meets. Most of our cars are likely tucked away for the winter but if you’re a brave soul we’d love to see your S2000. The restaurant is located at 56 E. Cross St, in the center of Ypsilanti’s Depot Town. Automotive Museum Tour
Following lunch we will visit the Ypsilanti Automotive Museum, just across the street at 100 E. Cross St. Ypsilanti, 48198. Phone 734 - 482-5200. This unique museum is the site of "the last Hudson dealership". This is a really cool museum with cars manufactured in the Ypsilanti area. Cars include a NASCAR winning Hudson Hornet, Preston Tucker’s Tucker Torpedo, Kaiser cars, Frazer cars, Chevrolet Corvairs, and more. Check the link below for one visitor’s impression. Admission is only $4.
