Hi everybody. I just found this site from s2kca. Didn't know many of the neighborhood enthusiasts hang out here and would love to join some your spirited drives.
I'm gonna try to make it to the dinner. I hope the weather will dry out so I don't have to drive my beater.

Age is nothing more then a number, and i believe that i do not fit the sterotype(s)brought on by other immature members of my generation. With that said I would like to say..... did anyone email Scott letting him know about this?

Road Rash,
Don't worry about the youth here. I'm right there with you and whenever these youngin's start getting rowdy, we elders need to put them in place. I often bring a bar of soap with me just in case they start up with the foul language.
Other than that, they tend to tolerate the likes of me just in case any of the local police decide to harrass the contingency in attendance. I bust out my middle age card (my driver's license) and inform them that I am baby-sitting their behavior and they have my promise that these youngin' are being monitored and will remain in-check.

No need to start a new one.
Go register at the S2KCA site, and if you feel worthy enough, register for membership. Regardless, if you register up just for the site or for the full membership, your email and other personal info will be collected and sent to me. I'm the Midwest Director of the S2KCA and do have a compiled list of all members young and old, new and newer, and such broken down to Midwest owners, owners in each state, and even by state region.
So far my Midwest list is 1100 strong. At last count, I have about 700 owners in the Illinois area, of which the majority are come from Northern Illinois down to the Bolingbrook area.
You see less active participation on the discussion board there due to the varied interests that the owners have there. Some are really into auto-x, while others are into tracking, while others are into enthusiasm of ownership. We've typically have had meets that bring some of the owners out of the woodwork, and this year I hope to do just that.
