Default Detroit Area Woodward Dream Pre-Cruise

Since our last Detroit area meet earlier in the summer, it looks like there is some interest in getting together again. I suggest that we kick off the Dream Cruise weekend with a group drive down the Woodward Ave loop on Friday. We are meeting at the Cranbrook Church parking lot which is close to Woodward, but not right on Woodward; so, I think there should be plenty of space for our cars. And we should have a decent background for some photos if anyone is interested.

Cranbrook Church Parking lot off Lone Pine Road, 1/2 mile west of Woodward. (there's also a link to a map below). Here's a sample photo from the parking lot looking towards the church:

There's also other good spots right around there for photos; here's a good photo at the Cranbrook Admin Offices:

After some quick photos, we can head North on Woodward, loop around Pontiac, and end at some place in Ferndale, either Como's for a couple drinks and/or pizza, or BW3's for a couple drinks and/or wings.

So, who's in? (Can we get 10 or more s2k's?)

Confirmed:
1. Kamron
2. hatch4raceb16
3. blue06
4. biggerss
5. Tachus
6. DERF
7. S2KH?
8. suterusu?
9. Pure Adrenaline (w/ Family Sedan)??
10. sw05s2k
11. Habitforming?
12. Nofar

Here is a link to exactly where we are meeting. You can see the parking lot just to the south west of the church if you zoom in:

I really want to, but I'm flying back that night (ETA midnight). If we wanted to get some people together for a "pre-drive" the week before I'm down with that.

I thought it was a poor idea to organize a group drive for the Dream Cruise itself (difficult to keep the cars together unless we do it at the crack). But, I'll keep an eye out for you on Saturday in the Scion if I'm hangin' around. Why not the S2000? Isn't any open-air car far superior for the Dream Cruise -- lemme guess, additional passengers/kids/pets??

^ Yes to all Four Questions.

Scion Only Event right on Woodward, and we get to Party and Park for Free if We Bring the Scion.

We may also bring the S to Cruise around in, but I'll have to find a Parking spot for her. somewhere else.

Link to Scion Party http://se-detroit.com/dreamcruise/

Toyota/Scion Sponsor a Ton of Free or very low cost Events for Scion Owners.

Get the Hint Honda Company of America Non Posting Trolls. Ya Ya Ya, I Know, You are already selling the S close too or below cost.
