anyone know any local detailers? maybe s2000 owners? shops? anything? looking get it done before i put her away for the winter.

Same here. Although should I not wax my car yet since it's so new? I would also be interested in someone showing me how to properly detail my car so I don't have to pay someone to do it in the future.

You should let the paint "breathe" for about a month or so. Then put a layer of sealant on there, followed by another layer or 2 of wax.

look at your manufacturer date.. even if they used the softest paint it'll be fully cured in 30 days.

I might be able to give you a hand. I do have an orbital buffer and a decent variety of products (sealants, polishes, etc). I'm in Oak Park.

one of my friends who lives in mount prospect will be detailing cars thanksgiving break, november 26-30.
He is really good friends with the owner of midwest detailing
www.midwestdetailingsupply.com he uses all his products
he is also willing to teach people about detailing
