For some reason- your thread in FWT was deleted- Who knows why?
Here is the information you requested again... apparently someone didn't want you to see it...
FWT 2004 Trailer
and this one should give you a couple extra ideas to help you out...
FCT 2004 Trailer
As I said before- the hardest part is scripting what you want- it was diffacult last year being the inagural run to plot and plan what and where to shoot. so you might find that you'll end up with about 40-60 hours of random footage. Just try to keep good notes of what you want to use and where...

The most difficult thing to do is remember that you are there to make a DVD, not hang out with everyone, if that's in fact what you're saying you'd like to do. Otherwise, you'll NEVER get what you (and anyone buying one) will definitely want once you're in post and it will inevitably become amateurish. I had a hard time with focusing on work at FWT, even after almost 5 years as a pro shooter, and I don't even own an S.
And, these guys love to drive at...errr...higher than average speeds , so filming is not the easiest thing to do, even with a car mounted camera.
It's all run and gun camera work, NOTHING is scripted, NOTHING is "Film style"! Even with FCT (my second DVD and with 3 months of planning into it), what seems to be the most important part to the participants, the driving, was an extremely crude run and gun shoot to say the least. I had all sorts of equipment, and other shooters for both!
That's one thing you do have on your side. The participants of FWT will work with you. Some will have a lot of really good footage that will come in handy in post. And, you'll be with 40 participants. FWT '04 was 75 (I believe) and FCT '04 was close to 300. Speed recommended that I have 5 crews for FWT this year...
Good Luck!
