I grew up in Phoenix and went to the original Ed Debevic's there. But just looked it up on Wiki, and apparently that one, and all others outside IL, have since closed. So now it is a "uniquely Chicago" place.

Portillos is a good "regular" hotdog, there are way better places but because your not from Chicago your not allowed to know about those places! 
lol plus some places its not worth the lines to get a hotdog...
All kidding aside, portillos is a great place to grab a quick relativity cheap bite to eat.
