Also let me add that if you want to show a bit of CF and paint the rest, here's a few pics to show you what it'd look like (sorry, I could only find Silverstone and black examples):

the reason I suggested to leave it carbon is because
1) fully painted that red one just looks NASTY and cheap
2) if you leave the vents carbon you either have to have a harsh line where the vents terminate (which also looks like ass on a seibon hood), or fade it down, and im not sure how the fade would look with red paint.
The only other prob though is if you leave it carbon, you should get some more carbon pieces to accent it.
Maybe pick up a complimentary Seibon CF hardtop, or a Seibon MG style SS wing
btw ... hows the fitment on that puppy?

however the black part on the bottom of your front bumper looks good with the CF hood.
Also looks like it needs to be lowered?
all in all the ride is looking good

I'm glad that you got the hood....it will look sick on your car (especially with it painted).

Yea the red painted looks a little "off" to me, and urmil and lee made good points. Greg is right the raw look compliments ur lip and the windshield tape is black also along with the interior. Plus your car is a little more extreme looking then the other modded painted cf hood cars in the area. I think it flows good the way it is. But if you wanna paint go for it.

what's the point of carbon fiber if you are going to paint it? I don't get it?
You pay a shit load for a hood , so you can show of the carbon fiber but then decide to add paint. Andy, just leave it alone. I like the black on red look.
If you think the carbon is going to make you go faster , just save your money stick with the aluminum hood , and stay of the cheeseburgers for a week. .........you'all good then.
BTW: Andy where the hell have you been? Coming out to the Hooters meet tomorrow?
