RUMOR CLEARANCE AREA!!!!!
There were indeed a few dates cancelled by BMP...but they were APRIL dates and both of those clubs were told in advance that their dates were risky. They were taking gambles because they wanted to say they were the first ones on the track.
At this time there is NO RISK of our date getting messed up.
That is coming straight from the horse's mouth.

Yes, I will return deposits once I receive payment for all of the spots.
You will get back 24$ via check or paypal. I had to pay $1 to paypal for each deposit, so I can't refund that.

Per your PM you sent me March 10, 2009:
I keep a list of people in the order that they have cancelled and if their spot fills then I give the original $25 back. Right now there are a few ahead of you in that order.
If you wanted it all back ASAP then you would need to sell your own spot.

You are correct, and that is exactly what I am doing. There are spots on the list that were fill-ins and those spots have not yet been paid.
I can't just give back $$ because someone SAYS they will take a spot.
Look at the math: I based my cost per spot on the cost of renting the track for a day. It was very simple, I took my total cost and divided it by the number of people that said they were going to come and put down deposits; that is why the event is so cheap. For every 1 person that backs out, I have to cover $185 out of my own pocket....or keep the deposits of 7ish people to help me cover that spot. Right now I only have 9 that have backed out...so if I have 2 spots that are not paid for, I am losing money.
It's not like I havent been 100% up front and honest with all of you about everything I am doing. If I have extra $$ when this gets ironed out, it will be distributed....and as soon as I get $$ for the empty spots, ALL deposits will be returned.
Please don't take it personally. It's not about you.

HELP!
I am giving back deposits now because I have payments for everyone coming to the event...I have given them all back except for 1.
I have his screen name listed as "roah" but can't seem to find him anywhere.
Anyone know this guy?? His name or email address or anything that will let me resolve him back to his PayPal will be great.
