Since evidentally we will be meeting up @ the Lake Forest Oasis instead of the Dominick's location, where is it @ exactly? I am assuming it is on 294, but I'm not sure. Also approx what time? I'm getting excited for my first S2k meet. I wish I didn't give my ex her camera back...

FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN THE CHICAGO AREA CARAVAN:
We will be meeting at the Dominick's on Canal and Roosevelt (handy little map on the previous page) at 3:00 pm. We will then plan on rolling out from there at approximately 3:30 pm. This may seem like a bit of a wait, but keep in mind this is a handy place to take a leak / pick up some red bull or other refreshments / etc.
Since it takes between 45 and 55 minutes to get from there to the Lake Forest Oasis, based upon traffic, this should put us there approximately between 4:15-4:30 pm so others should try to meet us there around then as well. We will be rolling out from the Oasis at 4:45 pm as this should give us plenty of time to navigate to the proper parking with a bit of buffer time should we get royally confused in Milwaukee's interchange system, since it has happened before.
If you are planning on meeting up with this caravan at EITHER point, PLEASE text or call me the DAY OF the event. I will likely be waking up at 7:00 am to take my car to the stealership for some maintenance, so if you wake up early and decide you want to join in, feel free to call or text me any time after 7:00 am. If I don't pick up, please leave a message, indicating your name and forum alias if you don't feel I know you well enough to figure this out. ALSO, if you realize you will be LATE to either of the meeting places, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!! We can determine how late you think you'll be, and whether it's worth holding things up for you. I'm timing things a bit liberally because I know things can happen, but I won't be afraid to leave before someone arrives if I haven't heard anything from them and time is getting to be more of an issue.
Since I obviously am putting a lot of emphasis on calling or texting me (I get free incoming for both, btw, so don't feel like it's cheaper either way... for a quick update, I would probably prefer a text, actually) you will need my cellphone number. Therefore, since I don't know who does or doesn't have it, and who may or may not be interested in attending, just PM me any time prior to about noonish that day, and I will respond with the number.
Now keep in mind, there is a *slight* chance I won't be present at the Dominicks meetup if the stealership decides to suck epicly. If this happens, hopefully at least one other member who is used to this route will be there to lead the caravan to the Oasis. I will notify them if this happens and give them an idea of who is planning to show up there, so when you leave there may be based on their judgement.
