i'm so excited! my 2nd time visiting chicago, i luv that city.

which pizza house is the best? i heard lou malnati's, giordano's and gino's east are the top candidates.

also any other cant miss restaurants and cool places? i already made plans to go to signature room and chicago chophouse.

People tend to like Ricobene's and Connie's Pizza in the south side, near Chinatown.

There are too many choices, most of the pizza places are good here, everyone raves about Lous, but I think it is over rated. I am not a deep dish fan. You eat two pieces and you are ready to blow.

btw, is 'phoenix restaurant' in chinatown the best chinese joint? do they have dimsum only?

The best pizza in Chicago is Geno's East.

If you're going to be downtown, I'm going to vote for Pizzeria Uno (619 N. Wabash) or Due (29 E. Ohio.) The other Uno's are not the same quality as these. After Uno's downtown, I'd vote for Gino's East or Lou Malnati's.
