Dang. I hope he survives, but he shouldnt be racing if that is in fact what he was doing. However he was speeding because that is a lot of damage.

Granted it's an Evo, but do we know for sure he was racing? It looks to me like he got rear-ended something fierce. Which tends to imply that he was not moving that fast (unless he spun out and hit something) but I know I can't tell from the pics.

 

Cabin looks ok - he's probably fine... maybe a bit banged up.

 

He may be fine on the outside but his insides probably went for a ride. That does not look good at all. Hope to god that person had a seatbelt on.

The car looks familiar... I think I just saw it at an evo meet a month or so back. My friend just totalled his evo too about two weeks ago, seems like no one can keep them under control.
