Argggg...might be on street tires for this one. My R-Comps may be carried to Gingerman with a friend of mine for a Monday track day. I tried fitting 4 tires in the car last night. It will work with the top down, but it might also rain. I could remove the passenger seat to fit the tires, but then I would be bumped out of class and wouldn't be able to give rides.

Sigh. Tires=expensive. Trailer=expensive. Can't afford both right now, but they are very complimentary.

That's one of the problems with the S2K. Lack of room.
I've decided to run with street tires this year just for that same reason.
The street tires I use are very good though (Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R).
A good compromise I suppose.

I was running on the RE01R's for the past couple seasons. Best street tire out there (although i'm hearing good things about the Direzza's and R1R's). Decided I'm finally ready for R-Comps (R888) and I found out it's true what they say - the worst R-Comp is still better than the best street tire. Not that the R888 is the worst R-comp (although it's not really an autox tire) but I was taking last week's course a lot faster than I could have on the Re01r's. I think I may be able to give the Cayman competition if I go on R-Comps.

We'll, see. I may just stuff them all in the S and hope it doesn't rain.

Perhaps I will try R comps next year.

So far the weather forecast looks great all weekend.

I might come out for this one, is it pre-reg only?

I don't think it's pre-reg only. But if you do pre-register, you'll save $5. Deadline for pre-registration is midnight tonight!

You don't have to pre-register.
However, you don't pre-pay the fee if you pre-reg.
You will still pay on the day of the event.
Meaning ... if you pre-reg and then not make it ...
you won't be out $$$.

So you might as well register now and if you don't make it ... that's okay.
You will simply be marked as a no-show.

I think they might give us the option to pre-pay eventually.
But as of right now, it's not set up yet.
