Man...that corner worker toward the end was sure standing in a bad spot. If someone was too hot there, there is noway that guy could have gotten out of the way in time....

Nice run though.
heh...You could really pick up some speed in the slalom before that turn making it real easy to come in too hot. I took out 2 cones in that box myself on the previous run.

OK. Ill do this season of Autox bone stock. If I want to stay in the OEM class what can I do tire wise. I need new tires for sure mine are bad.
Might want to take a look at the autocross faq: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=172595
The basic summary is that Front sway bar, tires, and alignment are all you really need. And a lightweight exhaust is helpful too (and legal).

If you want to run r-comps, the faq is your best source. But you probably don't want to run r-comps if you're a beginner. R-comps grip so well they will cover up your mistakes. Plus they are expensive and it sounds like you're looking for a replacement street tire.

I run the Bridgestone RE01R's and I love them. Most of the people at Nationals running in the street tire classes were running these. The new Dunlop Direzza Star Specs are supposedly marginally better as tested by tire rack, but since they are new, there's not a lot of autocrosser feedback yet. You can also look at the Hankook RS2 Z212's. I had these before and they performed well. They aren't as good as the RE01R's IMO, but they are really inexpensive. These 3 tires are probably the best street tires for autocross (in AP1 sizes). When I buy tires though, I never look at things like longevity, how loud they get, how they perform in the rain...pretty much just maximum dry performance.

Yeah, your passengers have fun...but what about the people running all over the course picking up the cones you "accidentally" knocked down
