It was a good day . Phong and Nick - nice seeing you again. Nice meeting Tony and [the guy from Indiana with the white AP1].

Vids coming soon. Anyone know of sites that host higher resolution videos (youtube blows).

I am trying to make the June race but I don't understand how to read the class you would be in.

you dont have to worry about that.
just tell the inspector during tech what mods you have on the car and they'll put you in the right class

I am trying to buy new parts and mod the s2k but I don't want to be in a class where I can't keep up with.

Learn to drive it first before modding it. You will likely not be able to compete right off the bat even in stock class.

I agree. There's really 2 ways you could go. You could mod for the fun of modding, build the car for your own personal preferences, and not worry about being competitive (since, if you're a beginner, you won't be competitive anyway). Or you could learn to drive first and then mod accordingly. I chose the second route because it's cheaper, and I would rather be a fast driver in a slow car than a slow driver in a fast car. Admittedly though, a modded car can be fun.

Man...that corner worker toward the end was sure standing in a bad spot. If someone was too hot there, there is noway that guy could have gotten out of the way in time....

Nice run though.
