Asshole s2000 owners
So yesterday my fiance and I stopped at Mayfair mall around 6:30. We were driving in her 2000 Acura integra, and just happened to park next to a Rio Yellow AP2, which was at least a MY06 judging by the ap2 v2 rims on his car.
So we were waiting for a couple friends to meet us when the owner came back to his car. The car was extremely dirty and had like 4 bird dookie stains on the hood, but none-the-less my fiance said " Sir, that's a really nice car you have>"
Then he blatantly looks at her, gives this this snooty chuckle, and says " Yea, i know...." He then proceeded to struggle with putting his top down, and when he finally got it he sent a nice little glare at us through his big black joe-cool sunglasses.
So my question is: I wonder how he would have acted if we were in my S, and how many of you have ran into cocky owners over the lastfew years, whether while driving or not driving your car? I would assume the cockess would more prevalent when complimenting an owner of an S while not driving your own, but who knows.

See I don't know... My personality is that if I see a nice car or a fellow s2000 owner, regardless if I am in mine or not, I will always make a compliment. 99% of the time it is genuinely appreciated, and we'll end up talking for a couple minutes and be on our way. It's just a shame because people like that give specific car owners stereotypes, when almost every other s2000 owner I've ever met has been extremely the opposite.

I've seen this too. How old was he??? I think that has a lot to do with it.
For some reason a lot of S2000 owners feel that they are driving a Porsche or a Ferrari. Remember, it's still a 4 cylinder Honda!!!

When he said "yeah, I know...". Your wife should of gave him a BIG smile and said "oh yea, coz my husband has the same car".
I've never encountered any asshole s2k owners, just many dickwad bmw, ferrari, and corvette owners.

ssm2k = major douche, trust me
haha, j/k ryan . . . I've never really run into any douche s2k owners, a couple gave me douchey looks in my tib a couple times on the roads . . . then when my supercharger screamed away from them, they wouldn't look over at me again, hehe
for the record though, I plan on bein a huge prick once I get mine, cause a 4 cyl honda makes me better than everyone else

if you pay close attention to the "funny things people have said about my car" thread, you'll notice that half of the people do what this guy did when they get the "is it a v6?" or "thats a honda!?" and yada yada yada questions.
for this i always give a little extra to those who are intrigued by the S.
just today, an old man in a car next to me stares at my car with his jaw on the floor. after like 3 minutes at the light he finnally says "it's a honda??" i replied yes with a smile. and when he yells "nice car!" during my green, i gave him a wave with a fully extended arm.
