Default AP1 OEM Front Lip vs Canards Splitters

I had an OEM front lip on my spa yellow S2K. I don't really like that lip (it came with the car when I bought it), and would like to get the cannards splitter style, as show in the picture below.

is it a good idea?

I for one am a fan of both styles, but the canard style is unique, and pretty baller if i do say so myself

I like the OEM, the style posted above, AND the Amuse style lip. At the end of the day, it's all personal preference.

I like the cleanliness of OEM. I don't mind a well done front lip, but to me it has to be part of the bumper (if you're going for style, if it is purely for track performance looks don't matter). In the top pic, even a silver car with a low color filter, that front lip looks like a 'stick on' to me. I do not care for body kits that look like they're held on with double-sided tape.

I like it, but just like Mr Funk said...ultimately it's your decision if you like the way it looks. Who cares what other people think.

I like it too, when I was looking for a lip, It was either this one or the Amuse lip. I went with an Amuse replica and love it.

I myself prefer the no front bumper look anyway.

Is it me or is there a mini translucent treasure chest on the hood of the car in the picture?

I imagine you didn't have any cooling issues at WMHM11.
