Default Anyone in or near Kalamazoo MI?

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone is from Kalamazoo Michigan or near the area?

I might be making a move out there for work and will be coming form California. I dont think I will be bringing my s2000 (having debates on what I should do with the car)

Just wondering since I do not know the area and would love recommendations for an apartment and other stuff.

Sweet. I am debating what I should do with my s2000. Do you keep the car as a weekend/summer car? Do you have a car that will handle better in snow?

No smog here, no inspections, nothing. I've never had any issues.

My S is purely a weekend toy. I know some DD their S year round, but its not worth it IMHO. I'd get a DD and enjoy the S when the weather permits.

I'm generally in Kentwood (north of Kalamazoo) generally every weekend. Post up if you're ever in the area! I finally spotted some s2ks yesterday at Thornapple golf course and later one at an Applebee's.

Great advice. If you want to really enjoy the thrill of driving the S on a race track, these are two great ones. During the summer of course. Gingerman is especially great, or at least it use to be, for anyone with a helmet to do their 'test and tune' sessions for 20 minute sessions on and off.

Do not plan to drive your S during the winter. You will need a second car if you bring your S....... but do bring it and store it in MI, you will be glad you did.

I sold my S after 9 years and really miss Gingerman evenings!
