if your still looking for a good body shop - try The Last Detail (Highway 41 and Buckley Rd) - i think the area is North Chicago or Gurnee -

I say stay the f*ck away from BodyWerks. I can give you a referral list a mile long with people that will tell you to keep your business away.
Exactly, I could not have said it any better. We had an integra painted and had nothing but issues with that guy. Everything that came out of his mouth were lies. My brother called the shop one day to check up on his car and Larry told him they were done with the body work and that they were going to primer the car. Well, we surprised Fat Larry by showing up at BodyWerks and he almost pissed his pants when he saw us. Why? The car was sitting on the side of his shop untouched for more than a month. We also specifically told this guy to save the stock bumpers and that we would pick them up. We show up to pick up the car and he says he doesn't know what happened to the bumpers. Larry surprised us again by trying to charge us way more. We left without the car and said we would be back the next day. Well my oldest brother paid Larry a visit and threatened to physically harm him(i know, sad but true) if he didn't lower the price and hand over the keys. Well, lets just say he got the car back. Also, his workers beat on customer cars when it's time to close shop, we witnessed this a few times. They're suppose to bring some of the cars inside the shop at closing time, but they play around with the cars before bringing them in. I can go on forever talking about this place, but you get the point. BodyWerks sucks. Get your bumper painted somewhere else.
