Nationwide Autobody in Schaumburg is where I went for my rear bumper. And im pretty sure thats where Shawn went for his "job." They did a great job on both cars.
Shift is right, they painted the front of my car after a wreck and I am 100% happy with the work. Nationwide Autobody in Schaumburg on Wise Road.
Also Lee is right, don't let them paint the bumper stand alone - it wont match, have them blend it in with the rest of the car. It is almost impossible to paint a metallic color by itself and have it match without blending. I'm also assuming Spa Yellow is a metallic, if its not disregard.
Once again welcome

Urmil,
I picked up a fresh set of kumo all-weather rear tires last month.......they seem to handle good.
I'll take you up on the routine maintance in the spring....
as for the lip.....I'll also wait until spring to pick one up and get then get the bumper painted....
I usually change the oil in the Mercedes and the 4-runner myself, but never messed around with the trans or diff fluid in those ....so i want someone with experience to show me the ropes.
Damn....I feel like I'm 10 again........now the toys has gotten more expensive......
I know i'm probably more conservative than all you guys but would like to learn as much about some of the visual mods that I've seen on this site....
For one, I think the eyelids look sharp ....also there seems to be only a few lips out there to buy.....

Amul,
I have a set of extra eyelids in my garage that I'm not using. If you want them, let me know. They will need to be painted for your car though, which is perfect, you can have them painted with your front bumper.
If you're free this Friday, I say we make it a ping-pong Friday.

If you want to see the type of person the owner is, just do a search of "Bodywerks" user name on this board. He has since never returned after he launched into many of the members way back when he bought the car.
BTW, Larry's car is not Spa Yellow. It's a custom color he mixed up. They aren't quick (except to give you a price, take your car in, and miss their own projected deadlines), and professional isn't something I'd descripe the shop to be.

Urmil,
Thanks for the info......
I think in the spring I will go the the same shop I got the Merc painted.....they were great and the price was reasonable. I just wanted to see what else was out there, especially if anyone with SPA yellow had work done.
Maybe was can get a pong game together tonight..........I may be off the hook .
I'll give Dee a call
