Annual UMW BBQ/Meet at Warren Dunes, MI
Change of date due to crappy weather
It's once again time!!!
Location is Warren Dunes State Park in Michigan (website here) and located here in Sawyer, MI on Saturday, June 1st.
We've picked this spot since it seems to be somewhat centrally located for our region and provides a safe, secure environment for us to have some fun and enjoy the weather and the S. There are picnic areas available for us to use, please bring something with you (food wise or beverages) alcohol is not allowed anywhere in the park, so don't bother bringing it.
We'll head to the beach after eating lunch.
I'll be bringing a 10'x10' canopy/tent along with some chairs, please bring a chair with you, plus anything else you'd like.

Absolutely every UMW member or guest is encouraged to come
Time
10am-6pm
I believe there is a $6 charge for entering the park, hopefully that won't be an issue. Out of state has a different fee.
We hope to see as many of you as possible

ATTENTION CHICAGO-ANS! (and those traveling from / through the Chicagoland area)
If you would like to cruise over as a group, I will be leading a cruise over to the meet. To put it one way, we typically make very good time heading over there, so let me be up-front about that. However, driving in a spirited manner and driving recklessly are two different things, so please keep that in mind and avoid the latter when driving in our group.
Here's the plan:
Meet at the Dominick's parking lot in Chicago around 8:00 AM CST (keep in mind, we go forward an hour as we head towards the meet)
1340 S Canal St, Chicago, IL
Let's plan on leaving around 8:30 AM CST. This gives us time for any stragglers, plus picking up supplies that you forgot for the meet. Sunscreen is highly advised!!

As soon as I confirm with Breanne, I'm pretty sure we are free that day.
