2008 INDYCAR & MID-OHIO DECAL PROGRAM
2008 Decal Program - Indycar & Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course
I hope some you can join us for this, or just attend the S2000 car corral for the Indycar and ALMS weekend at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course this summer.
In addition to our own parking area, we are going to do a decal program this year, in conjunction with the IRL and Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for the race weekend of July 18-20.
I've been watching the Florida S2000 group do this for the past two years, during the St. Pete race weekend and now we have the chance to do it in Ohio for our Indycar race!
Here is a quick breakdown of what we will do:
∙ minimum of 20 cars, maximum of 40+ (subject to change)
∙ we will put decals on our cars, approximately 4 weeks before the race weekend, and then show them off as much as possible. We will plan some photo meets and ops and take tons of pictures.
∙ Mid-Ohio and/or the IRL will have some pre-race activities for us to attend (more photo ops). This schedule has not been finalized and can change day-to-day because of the time demands of the Indycar drivers and their schedule. This may include some on-track activities - such as an S2000 parade with each carrying an Indycar driver.
Participants will get;
- weekend General Admission tickets (2)
- paddock pass
- a special infield parking pass (one).
Also, discount coupons for food, souvenirs, etc...

This is shaping up to be the Ohio event of the year - so spread the word!
Thanks,

See main Ohio thread
Long story short,
There is no "official IMSA" car corral for S2000s. We will have our own roped off parking spot at the corral location - but the free tickets do not include what the car corral ticket does (see the mid-ohio website for specifics).
If you want to park with the S2000 group, but not do the decal program, you will need to buy an infield parking pass along with whatever ticket you want. Infield parking passes go fast, they are almost out.
Sorry, but it is what it is.
