Need a driver seat rail for a Recaro SPG.

 

Bought one from GT Motoring.

 

I posted earlier on facebook to see if anyone had one, no one did, but I got this tip to forward to you lol .

"A tip for when he finds one: they are the shittiest brackets ever! I would strongly recommend having someone beef up the welds. Lots of people crack the tiny little tack welds that hold the whole thing together. I've had to get both sides rewelded on mine and have had to get the rails squeezed/crimped to make the seats stop shaking around."

 

Thanks man. I'm aware of the issue though I'm not sure how widespread it really is and if it's been corrected. I was looking at the Nagisa rail from another member and despite the Nagisa vs BC pic, they just look much higher. That and adjusting the center tunnel lock seems like a PITA. I'll get these welded up in no time - after the Autobahn unfortunately.
