Tried giving you guys another go again this year. Was questioned what I wanted to pay after going through the details. So I said I'll be happy if I paid £800 to £900. Instead you quoted me £997.00 and said this price is only if I take the offer and no call back, also the fact that I wouldn't get any cheaper. So I rang up my current insurer and they gave me a lot cheaper price. I now paid £945.

I've had a word with my colleague Sam who ran through this with you.
Our guide rate for this was £1092, your current insurers were quoting £1170 so we offered a significant saving. My colleague recognised that your price really should be under £1000 so was able to negotiate with our underwriters but the best price (flat rate) was the £997. Your current insurers I understand have now dropped their price from the £1170 to £945. The best rate we could offer was the £997. Thanks for giving us a try and it looks like you've seen a good reduction this year.
Thanks
Ollie

Have to again give Sky a huge big thumbs up
As some of you know, on the 31st of October we had a bit of a bump in our S2000 which resulted in it being written off as a cat C. The accident was reported to the guys at Sky on the 1st of this month and yesterday the 28th we accepted the offer made by MarkerStudy and have retained the vehicle for salvage.
Sky were fantastic, Markerstudy were also great although the pre recorded message every time you call them got on my tits especially as you hear it twice but that is such a minor thing and the fact that its been a hassle free settlement we honestly can't grumble.
I've said it before in this thread and i'll say it again, its not always about going for the cheapest quote possible!
Big thanks to Sky hopefully you'll be able to cover our Audi A6 when we get it

Out of interest and since I have my S2000 insured with your company do you think you will competitive for the insurance on my winter weeble car? Or should I just ring and find out? The reason I ask is that Admiral have been exceptional and have quoted £160 below the other quotes I have received so far, but are winter weebles your area??
Cheers!
