I'm afraid you can take that as a quotation refusal.

Thanks for trying us, apologies we couldn't

I just did a quick quote and got £792 as a renewal.

That's half of what others on confused etc are quoting me.

Is this price correct ?

My quotation reference number is 69910.

Thanks

Hi,

the price is based on a quick quote using a lot of assumed information. Please get in touch by phone to run through a confirmed quotation, call back request form below:

Thank you

As my car insurance was due for renewal, I though i would get a quote from sky today.

They were able to beat my renewal quote from admiral on a multi car policy, whilst declaring all of my modifications and covering them on a like for like bases. Plus with the added bonus of full breakdown cover. Many thanks to Sam for dealing with my request.

Unfortunately I've left you for this year after being asked to provide written proof of other quotes so you could match them. Maybe its just me, but sorry I'm not going to start chasing up other brokers to send me a written quote. It's going to be pretty obvious to them whats going on and I doubt they would even send it.

Shame as you've sorted me out with good quotes in the past and I'm not speaking to Bangladesh which is always good. Just sort this ridiculous policy out and maybe I'll be back next year.

Hi Matt,

that is a shame indeed, I am sorry to see any customer leaving. From our perspective however, if we price match another insurer, the underwriters ask us to provide evidence of the alternative quotation, reason being is a lot of people try it on, I am not saying this is the case with yourself however we have to adhere to the underwriter's request for written evidence.

Thanks

Ollie

Just took out a policy with Sky for £872 after Chris Knott wanted £1300+ to renew. Spoke with Luke who was extremely helpful.
Massive from me.
