Quick QU -

it's recommended that a baffled sump is used with a full on semi-slick on track.

Is that the case with these? Or are they not quite so grippy?

Considering these having taken my wheels off last week - not 100% mine will pass MOT

no you don't need baffled sump on road tyres, but always good to have just incase.

Ad08 225/45/17 and 255/40/17 finally back in stock.

Front have loads but rear only have 9 left. Be quick if you need any.

As it looks like I shall need a full set of tyres in the not too distant future I was wondering if these tyres do actually last as long as previously predicted ?

Was the prediction of 18-20k forthcoming ? Has anyone managed a significant improvement over the MZ ?

I managed 11k on my rear MZ's before I had to replace them and the fronts are original at just over 20k .

As I have to replace all 4 a change to these looks good .

Run 255 and 275 then, bit small for 9 and 10 but you can't really fit anything bigger on the S and running 18 is just making things worst unless you running wide body but then you need +15 to 20ish offset to make it look nice. Best go back to 17s
