Also couldn't do a deal, minimum insurance was 300 but already well below that on a renewal,Robert was extremely helpful though and I will be talking to them re van insurance soon...

had a rather large shock when my renewal came through on my seat leon (work car), now with 7 years no claims, went UP buy over £100, after a quick call and a check of the comparison sites (not sure why this was necessary?) it turns out you could do it for £450, £100 cheaper than last year and £220 cheaper than my renewal price, even with 3 points to my licence now. so that was good, just a bit annoying that i was about to get stung by a random insurance price hike???
will try to insure my s2000 with you again when that comes round again : )

Admiral had tried to charge me ~£280 more on my renewal, and wrongly claiming my new post code was less favourable. Quick vie the of the comparison websites got the quote way down to below the £600 mark before sky improved on it, and with cheaper excess.
Also with them it made no difference between keeping the car either garaged or on the driveway
26 / bath/ 8 years no claims

A question for Sky.
I cancelled my insurance a week ago (I'd sold my car) and called today to check on the status. I was told that the refund (£200+) would take 4 to 6 weeks to process, due to them having to get the payment from the insurance company first.
Why does it take so long?
It would have been a good idea to have mentioned the timescale when I did the cancellation.

Received my renewal in good time and made a note on my diary to sort it out the week before ....
Then I got a phone call, then a second phone call ... then a reminder letter.
This pissed me off so I went back to Chris Knott and saved myself around £30.
Then I got a third call ....
