Default WTB: Red S2000 Seats and Rails

This isn't for me directly, but I have a friend who was wanting to put some red S2000 seats into a vintage Aston (DB2) for racing/road use.

Please contact me if you know of any (including at breakers). They must be in reasonable condition and include the seat rails.

Cheers

Neil

Neil, the floorplan of the S2000 is all over the place ...... the rails will probable need quite a bit of modification to fit into any other vehicle.

He had a look at mine extensively on Sunday and was happy to take the risk that they may not fit. He's not expecting an easy job, and sees the cost of a couple of seats as being worth the risk for the improvement.

I personally would not choose the S2000's seats for racing - insufficient support and I assume difficult to get a four point harness around. But that wasn't the question, was it

No it wasn't the question It's like the bloody inquisition here

It's for vintage racing/sprints/hill climbs and then driving the car home. The car currently has 1950s seats which don't even get up to the shoulder blades. They've thought about racing seats but they'll look out of place and be too focussed for road use.

The S2000 seats should fit nicely, are the right colour and have the cut away at the top for helmets. They will be able to be modified for hrnesses.

Any more questions guys?
