You can cut the pipes to put the new 04 ends on - PJL had this done

Any luck with the pics?
No need to take a pic now as I found this.

I knew I'd seen a few posts before about this...

Yes id like to see the 04 pipes on the old style bumper and roughly how much they are.

Been thinking of a new exhaust but dont want any noise so kinda defeats the object.

Tail pipes could be the answer.
So do you like what you see enough for a GB?

Any more interest?

That my car

Sorry lads - I missed the pic request. I have a clearer one on my laptop at work, I'll lob it on on Monday.

In the meantime - order them, they're dirt cheap from HardTopGuy and are an excellent mod. The car looks fatter..or is that Phatter with them

I'm still interested but am keen to see roughly what they cost delivered.

Shipley, how do they sit in the old style bumper?? do you have any close ups on how the pipe sits in the aperture?

I haven't close up pics but when the new ones are fitted they sit 3 cms proud of the bumper.

It looks silly.

I took mine to a back street mechanic who, for a couple of quid, trimmed the tail pipes back by the 3 cms and now they are flush with the black plastic piece of bumper.

The photos are poor, the result is actually very good.

how do they sit in the exhaust cut outs?

As you know the original pipes are round and the 04 ones are oval so im just wondering if the sit in there nicely?
