WTB: Home Cinema Amp with HDMI
Looking for powerful and modern Cinema Amp.
Must have SW out, 2x phone AUX, 3 optical, one co-axial and four HDMi minimum inputs.
Must be DTS, DD 5.1 minimum. Radio not essential or desirable.
Good output, minimum 50wrms/channel
If you are upgrading im particularly interested in Onkyo or Sony HDMI units.
Thanks for looking, cash waiting for good recent amp.
I travel so may be able to collect in the South easily.

Hi Bernie,
I'm only after replacing my Cambridge six channel home cinema amp with something similar but more power/connectors
I have good speakers, subwoofer, stands and satelites etc already.
Thanks for the guides, these are exactly the items I'm after.
But I want a cheaper used one!

not selling but i have the onkyo 606 and can highly recommend it, i run mine with an HD projector, 47" LCD, ps3, wii, 360, freeview box, and media centre pc.
my only complaint with it is that you can't rename the inputs, and you can't adjust the upscaling for each input separately, you either have to set it to "through," "auto," or a specific resolution to upscale to.

Hi, thanks guys.
Using the older Azure also, but no HDMI. Nice for the cheap tag though.
Adam, I have the Popcorn Hour for main visual stuff and that upscales the old movies quite well, at least as good as my old Panny DVD used to.
So, it will be in passthrough a lot of the time.
I just want more punch, and not have to fanny about with aligning audio feeds and video feeds all the time
One day there will be a solution for the snake pit in behind!
Cheers all....
Steve.

Steve, have a look on the FS sections on AVforums.co.uk, there is plenty of stuff there, if you cant see what you want do a WTB and you wil get several hits within a couple of days.
I got my 108" Dalite screen from there, good bunch of enthusiasts
