Looking for a cheapish head unit as the one I have doesn't seem to get any radio signal.

Was considering getting a DAB one but not overly fussed as I just need something to put in to listen to the radio on the way to work.

I'd check your ariel connection first - a new H/U isn't necessarily improve things if you aren't getting a good enough signal feed

Bit Weird as the aux connection works, just the radio doesn't.

I tried a friends head unit and the radio worked with this so i'm assuming that my head unit is at fault.

How cheap is cheap. A decent spec pioneer is about £125 off amazon.
