WTB: cheap track wheels and/or tyres
Currently have some 17" Rota wheels on my s2000 that have some ditchfinders fitted. Tyres have masses of tread left but not great for what I want to use the car for which is mostly track work.
Originally planned to swap tyres for something like ad08r but before I go for that I thought it was worthwhile considering some cheap track wheels and tyres instead.
Does anyone have any 17s or 16s with sticky rubber fitted that are surplus to requirements? Depending on price I could be tempted.
Also, depending on what's available I would also consider a swap or then selling mine on afterwards although I do really like the look of the rotas.
Alternatively, anyone have cheap sticky tyres with plenty tread they are looking to move on?
Cheers,
Dave

I have a set of 16" OEM wheels painted in gunmetal, with Toyo R888s on, which I will sell for £400. There is plenty of tread on the tyres. If you are interested, PM me and I'll send you some pics.

Waiting to hear back from Simon and Razzele's are no use unfortunately so still on the hunt.
In the process of moving so not having much luck justifying £600 for some AD08R's to the wife. If nothing shows up, I may just wait and run the ditchfinders for a while as unlikely to get any track days until later in the year anyway.

Dave

Right guys, back on the hunt for some track tyres so anyone got anything before I stump up for some Federal 595 RSR's?
If I can get some cheap wheels/tyres and sell on my current Rota's and cheap tyres then I'll be in the good books with the wife!
If I do go for the RSR's new, anyone know which RSR's to go for? I've narrowed it down to 225/45/17 and 255/40/17 but there are different ratings shown. Assume W for higher speed rating but there is also a W XL?
