Default WTB: Bike

I'm thinking about getting a bike, I don't need anything special, looking for a road going mountain style bike.

If you have one you don't use, let me know

Does your company run a ride to work scheme? you can get 40-50% off the cost of a new bike.

Please don't buy a cheap full suspension mountain bike it makes me weep when I see people riding those on flat roads.

I wouldn't ride to work, even if they did! Worth asking though I suppose

Clive that thing is £845!! I'm thinking a tenth of that

Hence a WTB (second hand!) post

It has an aluminum frame, fully adjustable suspension and brake disks at the front and rear. (3x8) 24 combinations of gears by Shimano. The wheels are reinforced for downhill use and I have added a layer inside both tyres to avoid a possible puncture. On board computer of 22 functions is included.

It has about 22 km on the odometer

NineBolts, I know the feeling sometimes.
