PRISTINE 53reg Honda S2000 - £6950
NOW SOLD
QUICK OVERVIEW
I’ve owned this car since it was 4 years old (last 9 years). There won’t be many in better condition as this car has been meticulously kept from the day I bought. It’s completely standard other than me adding OEM 17” wheels.
REASON FOR SALE
I've always said I’d keep this car after spending so much time and money on it and having just spent a whole chunk of money getting it looking pristine for this summer my Dad announced he was selling his 57reg S2000 which I couldn’t turn down. If I was a rich man I’d keep both but I’m not!
SERVICE HISTORY
Full garage service history (by trusted local company, who you are more than welcome to contact) with myself doing an extra oil change every 6 months with OEM filter and a diet of Amsoil Oil 5w-30 (£65 a pop). After every service I’ve always cleaned the engine bay. Nothing has ever gone wrong with this car other than replacing the half a dozen seized bushes (replaced in pairs) just after I bought it, a couple of drop links, a brake calliper, discs and the timing chain tensioner. The car has just gone over 90k which on a 13 year old car is low.
GEOMETRY (what makes this car special when set correctly)
All the geometry bushes as free and greased (compliance bushes replaced with Mugen ones). Geometry set by Centre Gravity, Coventry at £350 (paper work available of actual set up). Bridgestone Potenzas all round.
BODYWORK & INTERIOR
For a 53 it’s pristine, with not one stone chip on the front as I’ve just had this done (see above) by Preston Farm Body and Paint who only work on top end vehicles. Their level of finish is second to none as you’ll see when viewing the car. The paint work on this car is much better than the 57reg I’ve just bought, much better (sorry Dad if you’re reading this). It’s not far off how it came out of the showroom. The alloys have just been refurbished as of this week.
The interior has always been a labour of love with the seats coming out every Spring for a full clean and lotion. Carpets are like new, with new OEM mats in red.
The roof is in fantastic condition due to the hardtop being on from October-April every year with only one very small tear which I repaired 7 years ago and it hasn’t changed since.
FINALLY
I’ve always prided myself on the fact that every car I’ve sold (all 5 in the last 27 years) has sold to the first viewer. The reason being they’ve all been immaculately kept much to the detriment of my family... a bit of OCD really!
The car is now in my garage (SORN’d) awaiting its new owner!
PRICE
£6950 WITHOUT Hardtop (will include Tonneau cover)
£7500 WITH Hardtop (will include Hardtop Storage Bag and Tonneau cover)
