MY02 Berlina Black GT
It’s with regret I’m putting up for sale my S2000 to fund a building project. I’ve owned it since October 2008 and it has 5 previous owners. I'm located in Sussex, not far from the A23 - RH15 postcode.
Summary
MY2002 Black with red seats/carpet and black interior
GT - hardtop is supplied with padded storage bag
75k miles
MOT till May 2018 - no advisories
Full Honda service history up to 45K/60 month service (in October 2007 at 49k miles)
Serviced by me once a year, every year since I’ve owned it - have receipts for all parts used
New roof in 2013 - no leaks, mohair, heated glass rear window
Clifford C650 with proximity sensor and boot release professionally fitted in 2011 to replace often problematic Honda UK alarm
Brand new Goodyear Asymmetric 3 rear tyres, 1 year old Goodyear Asymmetric 3 front tyres
2 keys, 2 Clifford fobs, 1 Honda factory fob (this will unlock the car but won’t disengage immobiliser)
No finance, never written off

Waeco heated seats - controlled from switches just below glovebox
Ricks Team voodoo black magnum gear knob - huge improvement imo!
Red ’Type R’ style badges on front and rear
Clifford Alarm as above, fitted by Huets to replace problematic Hamilton and Palmer fit.
Sumo power oil filler cap - the OEM one had a crack in! - seems like this is fairly common
If you don't want the induction kit I would be willing to do a deal to return to standard and sell separately. It does sound great though!

Stabiliser drop links - 2011/2010
Geo set up - 2009 - TGM did this and it looks like the geo wasn’t too far out to begin with but I didn’t really notice any benefit in all honesty so haven’t repeated

The car is generally in very good condition considering it’s now over 15 years old but is obviously not in ‘mint’ or ‘showroom’ condition. Other than the normal small stone chips there is also the usual wear on the drivers seat bolster. The wheels are in pretty good condition compared to a lot I’ve seen. Theres some kerbing on the rear o/s and the centre caps could probably do with a refurb at some point. The car has seen paint on both rear wings - Portslade panel works did the offside in 2010 (have receipt for this) and nearside was done by a friend who has a bodyshop/restoration business in 2015 (no receipt for this). Both sides look to still be in decent condition and probably some people wouldn’t even notice this even on close inspection, but I prefer to be open and honest.
Somebody is going to get a great car and probably a future classic in my opinion. I’ve really enjoyed owning this car and have always made sure money has been spent on it as and when it’s been needed and things like oil level checks have been carried out regularly to ensure it has never been run low on oil.
Price £7750
Anybody who wishes to test drive the car must show proof of fully comprehensive insurance otherwise I can’t let you drive the car. You will of course be welcome to be a passenger in the car, with me driving.
