Default GB: Ferodo Brake Pads

Hello everyone.

I've been in talks again with S2K Club Italia and am able to get some fantastic prices on Ferodo pads.

Have a look:

Fronts

You mean for the full front or rear set, if so yes.

For the uninitiated amongst us, what is the significance of these pads?

Do they brake better?
Do they require OEM disc upgrade?
Are they really only for Tracking?

etc...

For the DS2500...

1. Yes, much better
2. No OEM upgrade needed, but those who have done heavy track work with them have had a couple of disk issues, no problems for road driving.
3. For fast road and track use.

The DS3000 are really only for track work and are a bit of a hard core pad.
The 1.11 are very similar to the 3000e, both are a little bit less hard core than the DS3000.

HTH.

Thumbs up

I used these on a couple of cars. (DS2500)
Improved friction, a little more dust, still bite like oem from cold, excellent when cooked too.

HTH.

I'll need some soon, so F&R DS2500 for me in this GB if it goes ahead, thanks.
Steve.

I actually fitted a pair to the front on mine yesterday. Went out and spent the best part of an hour heat cycling them.

I've got to say that the braking is now mighty impressive, stops the car much better than OEM, but more importantly you get loads of control, it's a great feeling.
